Vladimir Stajčić
I like to draw and paint themes from life, feelings with which we travel through life, beautiful things but also difficulties that we encounter. The themes I draw and paint are often general fundamental feelings or events. That is why I often show them without a clear timeline, without noticeable objects that belong to a precisely defined period of time. I leave enough space for the observer for his personal emotional-visual experience. That doesn't stop me from painting themes from the modern world, but without easily recognizable visual guidelines. Probably that is why in my artwork there are a lot of elements of children's drawings, primitive art, native American art mixed with modern expressionism and abstract symbolism.

Acrylic paintings

Brushes
The most common technique I use is acrylic on canvas because it allows me quick expressive painting, but sometimes I finish with oil. I mostly do drawings with graphite, ink and in a combined technique. I like to combine drawings and colorful expressive backgrounds.
